Dehradun to Sankri: The Taxi Leg
Sankri (6,400 ft) is 185-220 km / 8-10 hours via Mussoorie-Purola-Mori or the Nowgaon side, ending at the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary road-head.

The Classic Six Days
1. Day 1: Dehradun → Sankri (8-10 hr); rest at 6,400 ft
2. Day 2: Sankri → Juda-ka-Talab (4-5 km, 9,100 ft frozen lake camp)
3. Day 3: → Kedarkantha Base (10,100 ft)
4. Day 4: Summit 12,500 ft at sunrise → descend to Hargaon
5. Day 5: Hargaon → Sankri
6. Day 6: drive back to Dehradun by evening
